depression mental illness

depression mental illness
Depression is a mental illness real?

I'm 21 and a few months ago I had a spell in hospital suffering depression. I still struggle with it, but have been on anti-depressants for some months now. My question is, depression is considered as a real mental illness?

It depends on who happens to see. I see this as a genuine mental illness certainly because I lived as members of the family and my partner, I know that the effects can be devastating physically and mentally, and it is more than simply "being a bit "sad. But I can not say that everyone sees it this way, I am often told just think more positively or stop being sad, very Few people understand that it is rarely the subject. I think it is getting better than it was and there is a greater awareness, but a problem remains. The main thing that acts as a barrier is semantics, because the depression as a mental health problem is very different a depressed person in terms of being a little sad. The separation of these two things is often asymmetrical and blended together to form some something that is very difficult to explain. I think that even medical proffesional (usually an older generation) are often reject the presence a depression that training was less intense at the time of their receipt. I find it interesting to see how to change people's minds when they see depression first well. I had a roommate last year who was in the mindset that depression was a little sad and it was just moaning about nothing. She lived with me for a year and after our time together, she sat me down and thanked me to open eyes to the condition. Because she could see he was not about feeling sad, or something a little low but inexplicable and beyond his knowledge. I am working with some teams from the community to increase awareness of depression with case studies to be put forward for education. Because depression is certainly a true mental disorder and debilitating disease is not just a matter of being a little sad. I hope you're feeling a little better with the addition of antidepressants.

With this set of songs I wanted to explore depression, partly because it was a very low point in my life, and also because I didn’t know what else I wanted to express lyrically and musically. I was thinking along the lines of simplicity and lack of energy, excitement – all the catch phrases of pop, rock and other upbeat music. I wanted to create something downbeat and bleak yet expressive. Infl…
