Has anyone got a temporary relief / cure for a tooth / nerve / gum infection?
My girlfriend has terrible pain – she cannot get to a dentist until Monday. A prescription for antibiotics, anti was sent by the dentist at the pharmacy, and it took some aspirin. They still run correctly, but his pain is painful to watch. If you have an idea of the pain can be relieved more then please let me know. lot! Thanks Keith
Aspirin is not the best choice for gum infections, since if the infections of the gums are bleeding, aspirin thins the blood, and makes for prolonged bleeding. The antibiotics should help, but when they kick in common is an analgesic prescribed ibuprofen (Aka Advil). prescription dose for ibuprofen is 800 mg every 6-8 hours. It would take 4 tablets of Advil to help ease pain. However, if this pain is due to a dental infection with a nerve open, antibiotics, pain killer does not do everything. Is it possible that it may go to the hospital with a dental clinic before Monday? Maybe then they may be able to better assess its condition, and determine what to do.
