I have a great dentist. It is up to date, caring and he does not use mercury. But this does not alter the fact that some of us to be in the dentist's chair can be stressful! This is especially true if you are sensitive to anesthesia as I am. Pump Me Up, adrenaline and I start leaving my body. I'm not joking. All my life forces increases and begins to leave the crown of the head. This would be good if I wanted to leave my body, but the truth, I like it here. In fact, I intend to stick around for some time so I am not really interested a quick exit. Since it is clear to me that where my energy goes I go, it may be difficult to remain calm in the dental chair when my energy seems to fly up and out in the ceiling.
So what? Last week, I sat in the dental chair and had the opportunity to experience a simple technique of power management that I use regularly during more relaxed situations. I I wondered if I could apply during time of extreme stress. I did and it worked.
Here is a process of energy management to manage anxiety.
First step: First remember that everything goes exactly as it is. Usually we do not be true in stressful times. Simply telling us that everything is fine, even if we do not begin to change our system of anxiety relaxation.
Second step: Open your exit points. In the body there are areas where we tend to tighten and tense up for trying to protect us from danger. The paradox is that if we open and reduce the tension leaves faster. Exit points are easy to open while it takes some practice at first. We have to teach us that we have options and we must use them. Exit points can be found in these locations:
The base of the spine
The palms of both hands
The bottom of both feet
And the back of the right heart, between the shoulder blades
Step Three: Direct your attention to your ground point. The point of the earth can be found in your personal energy system. It is located about twelve inches below your feet. This is not an abstract concept and practice you will find it easily.
Step Four: Visualize a globe moss green light to your Grounding Point. It is a color that soothes and comfort. Even if you can not see the color in the eye of your mind you can imagine what it might look like and who will do the trick.
Step Five: Direct your consciousness to your point on the earth and all the energy running in place begin to flow down to balance. This is what I have done in the dentist's chair last week. I closed eyes, opened my outfalls and viewed a luminous globe of light green moss beneath my feet. I took all my attention there and walked in the energy world. I literally feel all the energy that flowed quickly my body first and then slow start to balance the downward flow I created with the object of my attention to the downside. I was able to sit quietly without moving up that it was time to go home.
Anxiety and flowing upward energy is a type of stress. Depression and energy downward flow is a different kind. For depression you can treat the same in reverse. There is a point about twelve inches above your head and always in your own personal energy. I call this point, the point of contact. I use color it is soft blue. When you feel exhausted, tired or depressed use this display and you will notice a shift.
Here is the same process of energy management for depression.
Step One: Remember that everything goes exactly as it is.
Second stage: Open your Release Points
Third step: direct your attention to your point of contact
Step Four: Visualize a globe of pale blue light your point of contact
Step Five: Direct your consciousness to your point of contact and all the energy that flows begin to flow upward to balance itself
It does not matter if you feel energy or not. Imagine you move energy and you end up by obtaining the sensitivity you need to manage change in your mood. We are powerful energetic beings. Learning to use our energy to manage our own stress stoppers we return to our own source of energy well-being and reconnects us to our personal power.
