Depression can lead to suicide?
If I self-harm at the moment would be the next step would be suicide. Depression can cause you to be pushed to the edge and make you commit suicide? Chilady, I self-harm because I can not address all problems around me. I am 19 and recently diagnosed with clinical depression, I'm currently on Zoloft 100mg. I'm not at school. I cut my wrists and just away the pain of seeing things. It helps me cope with my life.
Yes, depression can cause suicide, but not always. If you have symptoms of depression for an extended period of time to ask for help from your doctor as soon as you can. Any form of self-harm or suicidal thoughts or tendencies should be taken seriously and should be directed to your doctor or a hospital emergency room immediately.
