Any suggestions for homeopathic treatment of depression and anxiety?
I do not want to go on anti-depressants until I exhaust all other methods. Does anyone have any suggestions for homeopathic treatment of depression? I know that exercise and healthy diet are big factors, but I do not know what kind of diet to be on. Also, I am in counseling / Right treatment is now working on cognitive-behavioral technique, logging and begin to meditate. Now I just want to know if supplements that work as hard as western medicines.
Homeopathy provide everything you ask, and more. But it seems that you have a common misunderstanding of what homeopathy is and offers. Homeopathy is a form of complete cure, as acupuncture and chiropractic. A homeopath uses homeopathic remedies to stimulate self-healing defense mechanism, if a symptom occurs in the mind or body. It is most similar to psychotherapy (in their feel, given the depth of listening and time passes with a homeopath you), only we help not only the physical symptoms, but those of the mind and emotions. (Most physical problems are "somaticized" overflow childhood emotional wounds we have been unable to "process".) Homeopathy is complementary to the work you do with your counselor / therapist. Often, it helps you progress further, faster and more freely. Like to see a psychologist, made under license, however, you would need to interview well, a "certified professional homeopath" who do nothing other than homeopathy.
